Atletico Madrid vs Real Madrid
Spanish La Liga 2016/17
Date: Saturday, 19th November 2016,
Kick-Off at 19:45 UK
Venue: Vicente Calderon, Madrid.
Club football returns this weekend and one of the stand-out fixtures is the Madrid Derby taking place on Saturday night.
Zinedine Zidane’s side will travel to the Vicente Calderon for the very last time in the league beofre the Rojiblancos move home, and they’ll be without a number of key players as they look to extend their lead at the top of La Liga.
Atletico lost 2-0 to Real Sociedad prior to the international break, leaving Diego Simeone’s side fourth in La Lga, 6 points behind their Madrid neighbours.
The meeting is the first between the side’s since last season’s Champions League final where Real won 5-3 on penalties following a 1-1 draw.
That win was one of just two victories for Real Madrid in the last 11 derby matches.
Double boost: Atletico v Real
Team news: Kroos and Morata injured
Simeone is expected to field a standard 4-4-2 with Antoine Griezmann and Kevin Gameiro up front for Atletico.
Jose Gimenez could get the nod ahead of Stefan Savic in defence.
Real Madrid will have to cope without key midfielder Toni Kroos. With Casemiro unlikely to be fit, Luca Modric will have to play the holding role in midfield.
Mateo Kovacic and Isco are likely to complete the midfield trio.
Karim Benzema is a doubt for the match, but could be risked with Alvaro Morata’s absence already confirmed.
Should Benzema fail to recover in time, Lucas Vazquez will come into contention which would force Zidane to reshuffle things up top.

The game will surely be a tough one just like other recent Madrid derbies, there are no favourite in the game. Both teams have a couple of injury casualties, but the game is still balanced equally.
We expect the game to feature more than two goals and the outscoring team becomes the winner. With Real Madrid firing all cylinders recently and the huge odd on them we believe its best to catch in on them.
