NAMIBIA
Namibia is still alive in the 2019 African Cup but their elimination will be confirmed with nothing but victory against Ivory Coast following the second defeat of the tournament against South Africa.
After working hard to keep South Africa out, the pressure on their goals was finally too much for them because they conceded the remaining 22 minutes of their Group D contest and were unable to return to the game.
With two defeats on their behalf, they still have the chance to advance, but after failing to find the back of the net in one of their contests, their chances so far are thin with Benson Shilongo's position in the team doubting after he was taken to part-time against South Africa .
IVORY COAST
Ivory Coast lost their important match with Morocco and now have to find victory in their last Group D match with Namibia to help them avoid the early departure of the African Cup of Nations.
The match against Morocco was very fair for a big spell, but it was their opponents who managed to claim a very important victory to ensure their progress to the last 16 thanks to a 1-0 defeat.
For the second consecutive match, Wilfried Zaha was only mentioned on the bench and did not even appear as a substitute in the match against Morocco but a change is certain to occur ahead of the match to be won.
