Palermo has been winless in five of their last six outings and is now on a three-game winless skid. The team is currently in the 18th spot of the Italian top flight table, inside the bottom three relegation zone, only one point above bottom-dwelling teams Crotone and Pescara.
The Rosanero is coming off an embarrassing 1-4 defeat in the hands of lowly squad Sassuolo on the road at the Mapei Stadium-Città del Tricolore last Sunday, as per Sporting Life.

I Neroverdi's four goals came from a brace by Alessandro Matri in the 15th and 66th minutes and one goal each from Antonino Ragusa and Matteo Politano in the 24th and 83rd minutes respectively.
Meanwhile, Inter Milan continued their winning streak to five games as they romped middling squad Chievo, 3-1, at their home ground of Giuseppe Meazza Stadium in San Siro last Saturday, USA Today reported.
Chievo netted the first goal of the game in the 34th minutes via a right-footer from team captain Sergio Pellissier to take a 1-0 lead at the break.
However, head coach Stefano Pioli's boys came back with three goals in the second half, courtesy of Mauro Icardi, Ivan Perisic, and Eder in the 69th, 86th, and 90th+3 minutes to complete the come-from-behind victory.
Inter is now in the sixth place in the overall standings.

Inter appear to truly have turned a corner and can continue their push for a European football spot. Palermo thought things had improved, but they are now back to where they started. The Rosanero, along with Crotone and Pescara look set to be those three teams vying not to be relegated, but the fact that they have not won a single home game this season does not bode well for the hosts. So although Inter have not fared well on this ground, having failed to win their past four with the Rosanero here, they should be able to grind out a positive result on Sunday.
