Reason For Betting Tips
Belarus
have shown some marked signs of improvement recently. They finished 4th
in their Euro 2016 qualifying group behind Spain, Slovakia, and
Ukraine, and whilst they were a long way off the playoff spot, an 11
point haul with such a tough group can be considered a decent result
considering they finished bottom of their last World Cup qualifying
group.
Their friendlies since qualification have shown some
promise as well, with draws against Armenia and Montenegro being
followed by a defeat to Northern Ireland. However, they managed a 2-1
win at Republic of Ireland in the build up to Euro 2016 and followed
that up on Wednesday with a 1-0 win at Norway.
I think they’re
still some way off challenging for their first ever qualification to a
major tournament, but positive signs are definitely there. I can’t see
them doing particularly well in a group including Bulgari, France,
Luexmbourg, Netherlands, and Sweden though, and I think the best they
can realistically aim for is to pip Luxembourg and Bulgaria to 4th
position.
France, on the other hand, will be hot favourites to top the group
after the round of friendlies in midweek. They deservedly beat Italy 3-1
away from home thanks to goals form Anthony Martial, Olivier Giroud,
and the in-form left back Layvin Kurzawa. Fellow challengers for the top
spot Netherlands lost against Greece at home as well, making France hot
favourites to top the
group.
This was France’s 10th victory in
their last 12 games, with the only blip on their record being the Euro
2016 final defeat in extra time to Portugal. This will have been a
bitter blow considering they were hosting the tournament, but they
performed well throughout the tournament and can take heart from the
fact that their star players all have many years ahead of them.
Antoine
Griezmann, Anthony Martial and Paul Pogba will prove instrumental in
any future success, and their young defence of Kurzawa, Raphael Varane,
Laurent Koscielny, and Djibril Sidibe aren’t to be underestimated
either.
Belarus may have performed well against Norway last time
out, but France will be an entirely different prospect. The visitors
looked excellent in midweek and will want to lay down an early marker
for the top spot with a comfortable win. I think odds of 2.150 for a
France -1.5 Asian Handicap Win are good value for money, and I’m going
for a 3-0 correct score prediction at 15/2 as well.
Belarus vs France: Head-to-Head
Surprisingly, France are not without a spot against Belarus, they
have won 2 of their previous 4 meetings, lost 1 and drawn 1. The French
men are just 3 goals above Belarusians have scored 5 goals against
France, while France have scored 8.
Belarus vs France: Prediction
Belarus are the underdogs in this fixture, but they are not far of
the mark. They are unbeaten in 7 of their last 8 games, though most of
the games have ended in draw. They defeated Norway in their last game,
and are ready to surprise France in this fixture.
France are the favourites and seem unstoppable, considering their
recent performance and quality in their squad. They should have no
problem winning this one if they avoid complacency.
France is bound to win in this game, but they should prepare themselves for a surprise from the hosts
