Inter Milan are surprisingly behind their less glamourous opponents as they are a point and a position behind their neighbours. They were beaten by Atalanta going down 2-1 when they last met last October. As for the team news, the only cocnern here is Chilean Gary Medal who is rated doubtful after a knock. This match will also see Roberto Gagliardini come up against his former side since leaving Atalanta in January.

Atalanta comes into this match unbeaten in their last seven matches. Their last defeat was away to Lazio. They picked up important points against Fiorentina and Torino but their biggest win was no doubt when they managed to beat Napoli 2-0 at the San Paolo which goes to show they are playing well and determined to make it into places that leads to Europe next season.
As for the team news, they will be without the suspended Andrea Masiello and injured Aleksandar Pesic for this clash. For Andrea Petagna this will be a special clash as he grew up in the Milan youth academy so this derby will be special for him.
