The first thing you have to say about Serena Williams is that she still doesn't see 100%, but Americans must feel her experience on the grass will always give her a chance to win Wimbledon. Serena Williams has won many Wimbledon titles, but I think many say she has decided to partner Andy Murray in Mixed Doubles as she had hoped for in the Singles tournament in SW19 for two weeks.
The part of the draw looks very difficult to negotiate by Serena Williams, although I think the draw is kind of good for her. That didn't honor Kaja Juvan, especially after seeing Guilia Gatto-Monticone push Serena Williams in the First Round, but that would be a big disappointment if the Slovenian could win this match.
Kaja Juvan hasn't played much on the grass, but he qualified for Mallorca before going out in the First Round. Supporting that was winning three matches for Qualifying for Wimbledon and then disappointing Krystina Pliskova in the First Round, but it was a close match that could go well and this was an important step for her.
He has played a lot of tennis over the past week after needing three sets to win three of his four matches in the Qualifying and First Round at Wimbledon. One of the matches made Juvan play eighteen matches before advancing to the next round and now I hope Serena Williams will press the Slovenian player like he has never experienced before.
The former American world number one is still looking for a Grand Slam to match Slam Margaret Court's 24 victory which may burden her a little more than Serena Williams wants to leave. This is certainly something that has the potential to play a role in its lack of form, although a bigger problem is a knee problem even though Williams told the press that he felt as good as he had at any time in 2019.
Serena Williams is looking for a player to push her so she is ready to face some of the top names in the women's game going forward, but she will want to make the path easier through to the Third Round than she did in the First Round. He did return quite well to believe that he could overcome someone with little experience on grass like Juvan and I would support Serena Williams to cover this one handicap sign.
