Whenever the Twenty-third Grand Slam Champion reaches the second week of the tournament, then you know other players who are playing draw will sit and pay close attention. Most would suggest they only take 'one game at a time' and that they are not focused on other results, but Serena Williams who came through the first week at Wimbledon will be very difficult to ignore.
This Fourth Round match must be a good match for Williams on paper because he has dominated Carla Suarez Navarro in the previous six matches on the Tour. The last was back in 2015 when Serena Williams could be considered a different player, but I don't think it's worth ignoring the fact that Suarez Navarro hasn't won more than three matches in a set against the former world number one. .
The American was not in her best condition in the first few Rounds at Wimbledon, but the performance of getting rid of Julia Goerges in the Third Round was very impressive. Serena Williams has
organized 85% of the service games played in the tournament and she has won at least 65% service points in each of her three matches here, but in the last round she did not face break points and I think there is a feeling that she peaked when we towards the second week of the tournament.
The break has come quite regularly for Williams in the last seven days too and I think his strength has every opportunity to score on service Navarro Suarez. While the Spaniard has been able to pass his matches without dropping a set, he has been broken seven times and the fact that Serena Williams has won 58% of the points played on Suarez Navarro's services in previous matches must be of great concern.
In their previous six matches, five of them have seen Serena Williams avoid being broken. That might not have happened when the two met in the Fourth Round, but I think Serena Williams will have too much in this match and she must be able to dominate the return as far as being in a position to win and take refuge in the Fourth Round.

Serena Williams has dominated the process in this match and sometimes you wonder whether Suarez Navarro can try to adjust a few places in his game and make it competitive. The problem for the Spaniard was that he was naturally not aggressive in attacking Serena's service, and when America continued to bombard Suarez Navarro backhand there would be some mistakes on the wing.
