Ghana won 2-0 over Guinea Bissau in their last Group F match. Jordan Ayew opened the scoring right after the restart while Thomas Partey doubled the lead midway through the second half.
It was the first victory in Egypt for Kwesi Appiah's forces, who had drawn their opening two matches in the competition.
The Black Stars were rewarded 2.50 for victory on Monday but three draws in their last four matches in all competitions meant another deadlock could be a better bet.
Jordan Ayew made an impressive appearance at AFCON this year, scoring two goals in three group stage matches. He has made the experienced Asamoah Gyan out of the team and ready to start with captain Andrew Ayew.

Tunisia qualified for Round 16 after finishing second in Group E behind Mali. They were held to a 0-0 draw by Mauritania in their last group match and struggled to destroy their opponents despite dominating possession.
The 2004 champion has drawn all three matches in this year's competition, scored twice and conceded many times. They are rewarded with odds of 3.10 to win on Monday but given their results in Egypt, I support this one draw.
Captain Wahbi Khazri must once again lead the line for Tunisia after scoring one goal in Egypt. He is likely to be supported by Youssef Msakni who also has one goal to his name while Taha Yassine Khenissi can be given the opportunity to have risen from the bench against Mauritania.

Tunisia is unlikely to be the ones who escaped with that victory, when the teams faced each other on Monday to get a place in the quarter-finals.
Despite starting with a frustrating start, and holding on to the even more frustrating second round match, Ghana finally took to the path of victory in their final group match.
The squad has also scored four goals on their behalf so far and also recorded a clean sheet too.
Their enemies, on the other hand, have drawn all three of their group matches and have conceded a lot of goals because they have scored.
Troops failed to find the back of the goal in their final match and it became clear pressure on them to turn things around.
Considering that both sides have scored in two of their last three matches, we can certainly expect them to get their name on the goalscorer list in their match on Monday. However, the game tends to support Ghana in the final blast of the final whistle.
