Uganda headed into their match with the hosts behind playing an entertaining 1-1 draw with Zimbabwe in their previous meeting. Cranes led through Emmanuel Okwi but was pegged back before halftime.
Uganda have four points and need one point to really ensure a place in Round 16. They are unbeaten so far at AFCON with one win and one draw from their two matches. They are rewarded with odds of 4.50 to claim an unlikely victory over Egypt and 3.10 for the draw.
Goalkeeper Denis Onyango remained a key figure for Uganda after a series of good saves in their first two matches. Patrick Kaddu is expected to lead the line despite only finding it clean in his last seven appearances for the national team.
Egyptian Form & Team News
Egypt have made a good start to AFCON with wins in their opening two matches. They beat DR Congo 2-0 in their last match with star player Mohamed Salah getting a goal between a solid performance by the hosts.
Javier Aguirre's side have kept clean sheets in their last two matches and have won the last four. They are expected to win again at 1.90 odds and give their strength at home, this is a good kick.
Egypt will likely rest the key players because they have booked their place in the last 16 and only need one point to finish as group winners. Mohamed Salah can be rested with Walid Soliman, who is highly ranked likely to start his first tournament.

Salah is likely to find himself among the substitutes for this game because Aguirre began to look into the knockout stages.
That could lead to the start for Walid Soliman, who appeared on the bench for the first two matches.

Uganda vs Egypt predictions
The home side will definitely go to the next stage with three of the three wins when they face Uganda in Sunday's final group match.
The hosts are currently on a four-game winning streak and have registered three clean sheets in the process as well. The result is of course proof of the Egyptians' ability to find the back of the net and their ability to limit their opponents from doing the same thing in the ninety minute range.
Sebastien Desbare's side drew their previous match despite starting with a positive start with 2-0 against DR Congo in their opening match. The home side are by far the toughest opponents in the group, and victory against them is clearly not going to be easy.
We certainly can expect the hosts to register a win and clean sheet at the final blast of the final whistle.
