Honduras have lost their previous two matches at the 2019 CONCACAF Gold Cup, which means they cannot qualify for the quarter-finals so they play proudly here.

El Salvador is likely to be the favorite to be on top when the two teams face each other for the top spot on Wednesday. The squad has not lost at the Gold Cup this season, and to be honest, Fabian Coito's team did not look capable of giving up their first defeat of the season.
The latter has been bleak in their international friendship and has not fared better at the Gold Cup either. Coito's squad have not recorded a clean sheet in one of their last four matches, which raises a big question mark on his side's defensive ability.
His troops must be careful not to give up ownership early because their colleagues often prove fast in creating opportunities in the three attackers. The match is sure to produce less than 2.5 goals in ninety minutes, with victory sure to support Carlos de los Cobos's men.
