Sunday sees the second-leg promotion playoff between Palermo and Venezia.
Venezia finished the regular Serie B season in fifth spot in the table. They chalked up 67 points in 42 games.
Palermo ended the campaign a place above Venezia in fourth. The Sicilians scored 71 points as they just missed out on a runners-up spot.
Venezia finished the season with a loss, draw and defeat. That loss was their only defat in eight matches, including six wins.

Antonino La Gumina fired Palermo into the lead in the 53rd minute. But Venezia levelled within four minutes through Davide Marsura.
Did Venezia blow their chance at winning promotion? It’s worth noting that Venezia wiped the floor with Palermo when they last met back in April.
Venezia won that match 3-0, as they took an early lead with goals from Sergio Suciu and Leo Stulac.
Sinisa Andelkovic sealed the win with a third goal in the second half.

We will now back Palermo to build on their rock-solid performances at this ground and make their way to the Play-offs Final with a win at 2.05. They boast a great form here and have proven a very tough side to beat on many occasions, which should prove too much for Venezia.
