TEAM NEWS
Leeds have no fresh injury concerns but they are still without the suspended Eunan O’Kane and Samuel Saiz for Saturday’s tasty-looking fixture at Elland Road. Thomas Christiansen has brought in Tyler Roberts from West Brom.
Cardiff will be without the injured Lee Peltier, Matthew Connolly, Danny Ward and Aron Gunnarsson, as well as the suspended Joe Bennett. Craig Bryson and Lee Camp are also set to miss out for the Welsh outfit.
Pennington missed the goalless midweek draw at Hull after sustaining an injury in training and will be monitored. Fellow centre-half Liam Cooper sits out the second game of a four-match ban, while playmaker Samuel Saiz and midfielders Kalvin Phillips and Eunan O'Kane are also serving suspensions.
Conor Shaughnessy was forced off at the KCOM Stadium with an ankle injury and another defender, Luke Ayling, has been ruled out for the rest of the season after ankle surgery.
Neil Warnock could hand debuts to January signings Gary Madine and Jamie Ward. Madine joined from Bolton while Ward came from Nottingham Forest in a swap deal involving Lee Tomlin.
Lee Peltier, Craig Bryson and Matthew Connolly are all stepping up their rehabilitation after injuries, but this weekend will come too soon for the trio. Cardiff sit fourth in the Championship table, seven points ahead of Leeds, having played one game fewer.

Leeds vs Cardiff: Predictions
Both teams are not at their best. Leeds though last 2 games looked like its trying to leave their poor run behind. They played decently well with 10 men against Millwall and then got a goalless draw against Hull. Cardiff is not the strongest visitor so Leeds has a slight advantage at Elland Road.
Both teams are well suited for defensive play and have produced a number of low scoring games. Keeping in mind that both teams are out of form we can assume that the game will offer little goals.
