Derry City’s fondness for stalemates continued again last week as they played out a goalless draw away to Drogheda United, extending their unbeaten streak to nine matches in the League of Ireland Premier.
This unbeaten streak looks impressive on the face of things, but the fact they have won just two of these games is a huge worry for last season’s 3rd place finishers. They have dropped a disappointing 14 points over this nine match period, putting them 4th in the Premier Division but already 21 points adrift of runaway leaders Cork City.
