Southampton vs Hull City
English Premier League
Date: Saturday 29th, April 2017
Kick off at 15:00 UK/ 16:00 CET
Venue: St. Mary’s Stadium.
Niasse was shown a straight red card in last weekend's win over Watford, but it was subsequently overturned following an appeal from the club.

He is now set to lead the line as Hull seek their first away win since August to boost their survival hopes.
The Tigers have won four of their last seven games, all at home, to move two points clear of the relegation zone.

"We need to play with the same confidence that we do in our home games," said manager Marco Silva. "The mind has to be looking at this as one game, it doesn't matter where it is.

"We have to keep our focus and respect the plan we have for the game all the way through."
While Niasse is available, Hull efender Omar Elabdellaoui remains absent with a back problem and may not play again this season. Ryan Mason, Moses Odubajo and Will Keane remain absent with long-term injuries.
Southampton vs Hull City: Head to head

Southampton has huge advantage over Hull in the head to head clashes. The Saints have won 8 of the last 10 games they faced Hull losing the other 2.

Last game was one of the 2 wins for Hull with 2-1 at KCOM Stadium.

At home Southampton has 4 straight wins with goal difference 12:2.
Southampton team news

Claude Puel could name the same XI that lost 4-2 at Chelsea on Tuesday night as the Southampton boss aims to get back to winning ways against Hull City.

Sam McQueen is likely to be back in contention after missing the trip to Stamford Bridge with a groin injury, while Nathan Redmond will also be considered for a start after dropping to the bench in midweek.

Puel is expected to select from an otherwise unchanged squad, even though Charlie Austin made his long-awaited return to training this week.

Austin, who famously failed a medical ahead of a proposed switch to the KCOM Stadium in 2013, has been out for four months but will not be rushed straight back into action in an attack led by January hit signing Manolo Gabbiadini.
Influential defender Virgil van Dijk remains out, nursing a long-term ankle injury.

Jay Rodriguez, who Mike Phelan tried to sign on loan during the summer, is expected to be on the bench alongside Shane Long, who remains City's most expensive player sold.

Long left the KCOM Stadium in August 2014 in a £12m deal but has started just nine Premier League games this season.

Southampton XI (predicted): Forster (GK); Cedric, Stephens, Yoshida, Bertrand; Romeu, Davis; Ward-Prowse, Tadic, Boufal; Gabbiadini.
Hull City team news

Oumar Niasse will be available to lead Hull City's attack at Southampton, despite his red card in last week's 2-0 win over Watford.

Niasse was sent off midway through the first half but a successful appeal with the Football Association means the on-loan striker will be included in the squad that heads to St Mary's.

Boss Marco Silva has no fresh injury concerns but he will again be without right-back Omar Elabdellaoui.

The Norway international has been missing for a month with an ongoing back problem and is still not considered 100 per cent fit for a return.

Silva will still weigh up making changes to the team that beat Watford last weekend. Tom Huddlestone could come back into midfield to offer greater protection against an opponent known for its dominance of possession.

Michael Dawson is on standby for a recall if Silva opts to alter his defensive line. David Meyler, Moses Odubajo and Will Keane (all knee) and Ryan Mason (head) remain City's long-term absentees. All of that quartet are now focused on regaining fitness for the 2017-18 campaign.
Bet Tips
City might be strong at home but their away record is dismal and Southampton are favourites to win. Betfair offer 24/5 on a City win, while a draw is about 3/1 with most firms. A home victory is available at 4/6.

Lazar Markovic has scored twice in four matches for City, including against Watford, and he is 9/2 with Bet365 to score at any time. Harry Maguire, who has also scored two in four, is 20/1 with Paddy Power in the same market.

Oumar Niasse can be backed at 17/2 with 32Red to score first, with Abel Hernandez at the same price with BetStars.

City were 2-1 winners over the Saints at the KCOM and Bet365 offer 18/1 of a repeat of that victory for the Tigers, while both teams to score is 4/5 with Betfred.
