Brayford has been struggling with a knee injury but only just missed the weekend win over Wolves and is eyeing a return to the squad.
Chris O'Grady should return to the 18 and Lloyd Dyer could once again be kept on the bench given Michael Kightly's form.
Kyle McFadzean (toe) and Damien McCrory (hamstring) are working their way back from injuries.

Steve McLaren will be desperate to see his boys regroup and respond in a positive manner after the heart breaking 4-3 loss to Cardiff. They can still boast of a strong home record and not many teams have come to Pride Park and returned with a point this season.
Burton are in-route to recovery, but they pose little threat in games away from their home. Their best chances of achieving survival depends on points picked from home matches.
On current form, Derby must win this without much trouble. However, they must fix the holes in their defense first.
