These two are level on points in Serie A, both are aiming to claim a place in Europe next season. Lazio slipped up last weekend, drawing 1-1 at home to Bologna. Torino moved level on points with them, after a very impressive 4-1 win at Palermo. Torino’s charge for a top six place is being led by forward Andrea Belotti. The forward has been in fantastic scoring form, he’s Il Toro’s top scorer, hitting five goals. Both Torino and Lazio have been quite excellent this season. The
struggles of Inter and Fiorentina have opened up spaces in the top six,
and the Granata and the Aquile have taken advantage of that. Just like
the Napoli-Roma tie last weekend saw changes in the table, this one will
arguably be the same.
With 17 goals, Torino are among the more prolific sides in the league
so far. In fact, only Roma (19) has done better. Lazio are no slouches
themselves as they have netted a solid 14. They surely will challenge
Torino’s unbeaten home record, as well as Hart, who has yet to keep a
clean sheet at the Stadio Olimpico.
