Leicester City vs Hull City
English Premier League
Date: Saturday, 4th March 2017
Kick off at 15:00 UK/ 16:00 CET
Venue: King Power Stadium.
n a repeat of the opening day of the season, where Hull were the surprise winners that day, a win for the Tigers will see them go level on points with Leicester in the Premier League table.
Marco Silva’s side currently sit in 19th, three points behind their opponents but only a point from safety, as both sides go into Saturday’s clash looking for a crucial win in their respective battles for survival.
Current Form
After a torrid run of six winless matches to begin the year – not scoring in any of those six – Leicester finally recorded a much-needed win in spectacular fashion against Liverpool.
A loss to relegation rivals Swansea City and a draw against Middlesbrough were two games in this run that the Foxes would have wanted to win, so they will be looking for third time lucky against Hull on Saturday.
The visitors have been inconsistent of late, beating Liverpool and Bournemouth yet falling to defeat against Arsenal and Chelsea, and Silva will be hoping his side return to winning ways at their rivals.
Leicester City
Saturday has seen the Foxes ending the desperate series of five consecutive Premier League defeats. The reigning champions have done it in some style demolishing top-part-of-the-table Liverpool 3-1 ion home court with a brace from Jamie Vardy and a beautiful volley from Drinkwater.
The caretaker manager Craig Shakespeare is thus off to the best possible start. The team appears to have a whole different chemistry and they will even enter the game with Hull as pretty high favourites for the win.
Hull City
The Tigers have had one heck of a schedule over the last couple of weeks, but the new boss Marco Silva still keeps them in life.
The Portuguese manager has improved Hull’s defense significantly as the team conceded no more than three goals in last four matches including the ones with the likes of Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal.
Leicester City vs Hull City: Head to head
The Tigers claimed three points from the first meeting with Leicester in the season thanks to gaols from Adama Diomande and Robert Snodgrass. Riyad Mahrez was the only man to find the net for the Foxes.
The teams have six wins each ahead of their 17th head to head encounter.
Leicester City vs Hull City: Prediction
It will be a huge game at King Power and none of the two sides can afford a defeat. We can expect the visitors to park the bus.
They have done it quite well against much stronger attacking teams and we don’t doubt that Silva’s tactics will be able to do the job against the defending champions.

The first betting pick will be Leicester City to score Under 1.5 team goals at 10/11.
You can also chase the draw at the half time at 5/4.
