Sassuolo look incredibly unlikely to push for a European place this season. While it’s still early days, it’s tough to see them getting close to their sixth place finish from last term. Despite their struggles, Sassuolo have managed to cause Lazio
problems. The Neroverdi have scored at least twice in all but one out of

over the Biancocelesti last season. In addition, they are not winning
their away games, but they certainly are able to score, meaning that the
Aquile will need to obviously do the same in order to avoid dropping
points.
The lion’s share of matches featuring both sides have seen a fairly
solid amount of goals, so do not be surprised to see this game being a
relatively high-scoring fixture. Sassuolo, of course, will be loath to
lose to Lazio having already succumbed to a heavy defeat to their
opponent’s cross-town rivals, Roma, midweek. However, Lazio are in
better form at the moment and should be able to take advantage of a
potentially distracted Sassuolo to clinch at least a point.
