Saturday 3rd September - Kickoff 18:15 UTC +7

Posh were busy on deadline day, bringing in goalkeeper Luke McGee and winger Nathan Oduwa on loan from Tottenham and George Moncur on loan from Barnsley.

All three will be looking to make their debuts and Hayden White could be back in contention after recovering from a groin injury he picked up in a reserve game.

Defender Michael Smith is away on international duty with Northern Ireland and midfielder Brad Inman (ankle) and striker Lee Angol (ankle) remain on the sidelines.

Swindon will be without influential midfielder Yaser Kasim after he was called up by Iraq for the World Cup qualifier with Australia.

Defender Jamie Sendles-White and striker Jordan Stewart will also be unavailable to boss Luke Williams after they were named in the Northern Ireland Under-21s squad.

But midfielder Sean Murray will be available after he moved to the County Ground from Watford on transfer-deadline day.

Teenager Jordan Young has been struggling with a hamstring problem and will face a late fitness test. Defender Raphael Branco (groin) and forward Jonathan Obika (groin) remain sidelined.

HEAD TO HEAD

These two clubs have encountered each other on twenty-seven previous occasions, and so far there is nothing to separate them with both teams picking up nine wins each. Swindon brought the head to head record level when the sides met in February, where an early Maddison penalty proved a false dawn for the hosts who lost the game 2-1 thanks to goals from Ajose and Doughty in the second half for Swindon.

PREDICTION

The hosts have won three of their last six matches, but also lost three, and despite that inconsistent start they sit on the brink of the play-off places. Swindon head into this weekends game on the back of a decent 1-0 win at home to Port Vale, and that makes it two games unbeaten for Town who should be confident of taking at least a point against Peterborough. The visitors are going to have to watch out for Edwards, who has 3 goals in the league already this season and always looks a threat when going forward. Town lack a natural goalscorer at this moment in time, but the season is still in its early stages and one may yet hit form. I’m going to put my money on this game ending in a draw with both teams scoring. There isn’t much between these two teams on paper and with both in decent form I can see them cancelling each other out.
