Chelsea vs Burnley Betting Tips, & Match Preview English Premier League 2016

Player to watch

Andre Gray. If you’re a Chelsea defender, that is. The 25-year-old found his form in Burnley’s 2-0 victory against Liverpool, scoring one goal and setting up the other.  But Gray’s performance on the pitch could be hindered by the recent scandal the player has been embroiled in. Burnley’s striker was charged with misconduct by the FA for a number of homophobic tweets he posted four years ago and could be met by a hostile reception at Chelsea.

Betting

Chelsea are odds-on favourites to extend their recent dominance over Burnley at Stamford Bridge on Saturday. Antonio Conte's men have made a perfect start with two wins from two and are 1/4 for another three points, with the visitors on offer at 12/1 for a second surprise success in the space of a week after beating Liverpool at home last Saturday.

Both of Chelsea's victories have come via one-goal margins and it's 11/4 for that trend to continue, while a home win to nil is priced up at 4/5.

Diego Costa could be joined in the starting XI by summer signing Michy Batshuayi for the first time this season after the latter's brace in midweek and they are 3/1 and 7/2 respectively to open the scoring. Burnley's Andre Gray opened his top-flight account against the Reds and he's considered most likely for Sean Dyche's side at 9/1, with strike partner Sam Vokes 11/1.
